Cuvée Reserve Pinot Noir & Cheese platter

Cuvée Reserve Pinot Noir & Cheese platter

A simple, elegant cheese platter designed to bring out the red fruit, gentle spice and silky tannins of a Cuvée Réserve Pinot Noir.

Serves 4 | Preparation: 15 minutes

Cheese selection

  • 100 g Brie de Meaux or Camembert – creamy and soft
  • 100 g Comté, ideally 18–24 months – nutty and savoury
  • 100 g Mimolette or aged Gouda – firm and slightly caramelised
  • 75 g goat’s cheese – fresh acidity to complement the Pinot Noir

To serve

  • Fresh red grapes
  • Pear or apple slices
  • Walnuts or hazelnuts
  • Fig jam or cherry preserves
  • Crusty baguette or sourdough crackers
  • A few slices of prosciutto, optional

Serving method

Take the cheeses out of the fridge 30–45 minutes before serving so they can reach room temperature and develop their full flavour.

Arrange the cheeses on a large wooden board, leaving space between each variety. Add the fruit, nuts, jam and crackers around the cheeses for contrast.

Pour the Cuvée Réserve Pinot Noir slightly chilled, around 14–16°C. Start with the softer, milder cheeses and move towards the more mature, stronger flavours.
